  • Therapy on location;
  • Collective meals, especially good for Risa, cause she doesn't like vegetables much, but after therapy she eats like a baby-elephant;
  • DNA research. It is expected that through this disease Resa will only reach the age of 18. We would like to help him as good as possible, in the hope to prolong his life-expectation and improve on his quality of life;
  • Facilities that makes their therapies possible.

RESA KRISNANTARA born 01 juli 1995

RISA APRIANI born 04 april 2002

Both children are born in one family,

and both are suffering of progressive muscle-dystrophy.

Their father and mother are working hard to provide for their family,

Father is dependant in his income from sales-commissions.

Mother has a little market-stand with clothing.

The PANTAI MAS-team gives them therapy twice a week and a time out as well. One of the parents in turn accompanies the kids.

One of the people from the team of Pantai Mas picks them up at home with the car on every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9 a.m. They first bring them to a Dutch physiotherapist on an other location than Pantai Mas, where they both have physiotherapy.

They're picked up around 12 and brought to Pantai Mas, where they have lunch together with one of the parents.

After during a break they often chat and laugh a lot.

Then they will go into the swimming pool together with Papa (Jro Mangku) Sri Siddhi Mandhi , where they can relax and play. After this the children get a 1 1/2 hour intensive kind of therapy, which was specially developed for this children. It incudes exercises in balance, concentration and breathing. Also the parents are taught the so-called 'water meditation'. It is a meditation technique that has been developed by Papa Jro and this technique is also used a lot at Pantai Mas by "healthy" people. After this event the children are having a drink and a snack, after which they are being dressed and they are brought home together with their parents.

Every time that the children are away for a day, one of the parents must join them, which means that they can spend a day less at their jobs. That meansof cause less money to spend on the family.

All costs of the therapy are paid by Pantai Mas. If there is money out of giftsavailable, the parents get about 40 euro a month for livelihood. This because it is so very important that there is always healthy and sufficient food available for the family.

Pantai Mas is fully depended on donations and gifts.

The Pantai Mas team also develops products which are mend for selling and where the profits fully benefits the ones who are less gifted and for them who are in times of emergency. One of these products is the Pantai Mas hammock, a product that is from a very good quality and made in a socially well-considered work-environment on the island of Bali.

RESA AND RISA AND THEIR FAMILY ARE HOPING THAT THE HAMMOCKS ARE SELLING WELL, CAUSE 2 EURO 50 WILL GO TO THEIR THERAPY AND THEIR HEALTHCARE.
